DOD OCONUS Expeditionary Logistics Executive

PAE is currently seeking a Business President and Program Manager to head PAE’s efforts in support of Military Contingency Operations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Will serve as President for program specific Joint Venture and report operational and financial performance to Joint Venture board of directors.

  • Oversee all aspects of Program Operations including business development, logistics, and financial performance.

  • Oversee operations, logistics, plans, contracts, human resources, finance, management, security, quality assurance, safety and risk assessments for all program tasks.

  • Act as the principal point of contact for the client(s).

  • Adjust team assets and company resources to meet unique task requirements while remaining within the parameters of the work statement.

  • Assist Capture Management in business development efforts, including new business opportunities, win strategy, pricing strategy, and staffing strategy.

  • Maintain an agile and responsive program with "surge" capabilities to meet evolving mission requirements.

  • Maintain a coherent, integrated, and sustained program capability that fosters program continuity and innovation and that allows for the integration and introduction of new concepts and work scope without disrupting current Work or client relationships.

  • Act as a Expeditionary Logistics subject matter expert and direct program activities surrounding government appropriations; Engineering and logistics; Operations and Maintenance, Construction, Services and Commodities; and Government acquisitions.

  • Simultaneously manage multiple task orders of a magnitude greater than $1M each in geographically dispersed locations.


  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.

  • A minimum of 15 years of military contingency and expeditionary logistics experience is required.

  • Experience with Army Material Command, to include working level relationships and experience with Army Sustainment Command and Army Contracting Command is required

  • Experience with the AFCAP, LOGCAP or similar programs is required.

  • Experience working with Defense Logistics Agency, the US Army G4, and Global Combatant Commands is desired.

  • A minimum of three to five years of increasingly responsible experience as a PM or Project Manager in the field of military contingency operations is required.

  • A strong background in overseas program operations is required.

  • Must possess at least five years of recent business operations experience which required knowledge in the following areas:

  • Government appropriations

  • Engineering and/or logistics

  • Construction, Services, Commodities

  • Government acquisitions

  • Management of multiple task orders of a magnitude greater than $1M each in geographically dispersed locations simultaneously

  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote and austere field environments is required.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process to include background check and drug screen is required.

  • Government Senior Executive Service or Senior U.S. Military experience at the O-6 level or above is preferred.

  • Experience working with a Army Material Command, Army Sustainment Command, Army Contracting Command, Defense Logistics Agency, the US Army G4, Joint Staff and or similar is desired.

  • Experience with the AFCAP, LOGCAP or similar programs is desired.

  • A current US DOD SECRET security clearance is required.
