Logistics Supervisor

This position is a pipeline position that is contingent upon availability and is located in Afghanistan.

Duties: The Logistics Supervisor shall:

  • Provide guidance and hands-on direction on the preparation of integrated logistics plans and policies and procedures for logistics support for the TO

  • Conduct analysis of supply capabilities and requirements and make appropriate recommendations to the Logistics Support staff

  • Consolidate and prepare reports for the UC-L, assist in determining positioning of supply assets to support local and Regional Teams, and provide technical data i.e. Inventory / Property Reports

  • Will perform analysis to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements

  • Use existing readiness monitoring capabilities and collection of logistics intelligence from multiple logistics databases to predict, manage and resolve materiel readiness issues--analysis results will be documented in a report format

  • Develop systems maintenance concepts together with plans and lifecycle supply requirements and processes to meet supply requirements for all training classes for the Period of Performance

  • Provide oversight and guidance to the junior logistics contracted personnel

  • Work with the assigned GTM-INL and help assimilate them into materiel management staff in support of the TO

  • Track and review vehicles, parts inventories, shop labor, fuels, and vehicle utilization

  • Review and analyze utilization documentation to recommend vehicle assignment to departments



  • Must have solid analytical skills.

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant logistics management/property management experience as supervisor or foreman.

  • Must possess the mental and physical powers to excel under harsh environmental conditions and demanding expectations for accomplishing a myriad of complicated and challenging tasks simultaneously and with tight deadlines.

  • Must be able to obtain a MRPT certification.

  • Must be willing to live and work in remote and austere conditions.


  • AA/AS degree or an equivalent 5+ years of experience.

  • Experience working in Program management office for Department of State or other US Government Contracts.
