PAE, Inc Staff Trainer in Arlington, Virginia

PAE is currently seeking a Staff Trainer for PAE’s Rule of Law Capacity Building Programs in support of the Department of State. The Staff Trainer will be responsible for providing Pre-Deployment Training for team members that will be deploying to various locations throughout the world (currently Afghanistan contracts only). The Staff Trainer requires a unique blend of skills, experience, and knowledge to accomplish the goals and tasks of the Pre-Deployment Training Program.
Successful candidates will possess:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred providing course training in areas such as: Survival Mindset in High Risk Environments, Healthy Lifestyles Overseas, Travel Health, First Aid/Medical in High Risk Environments, Defensive Tactics, IED Awareness, Hostage Awareness & Survival, Leadership, Surveillance/Counter Surveillance, and Driving in Foreign Environments.
Responsible for providing assistance and support to PAE staffing team with communication, document collection and candidate assessment.
Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to partner and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
May be required to perform additional duties as requested by the customer or changes in the training schedule due to the new program requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products – Excel and Word
Experience working in Afghanistan is desirable.
Experience updating and developing curriculum, preferably for pre-deployment types of training.
1 year of Classroom Instruction
Must be available 2-4 times per year for approximately 5-10 days of training each
