Strategic Marketing Manager

PAE is currently seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager to support PAE’s Corporate Marketing & Communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, implementing marketing plans and supporting marketing needs across the company, to include: corporate branding, product/solution branding, break-through messaging and campaigns for various key pursuits. A primary focus of the position will be to enhance the overall corporate brand, with a secondary focus on contributing to the successful capture of new business. The Strategic Marketing Manager will work closely with the company’s leadership team and specific teams responsible for key new business wins.

This position requires a track record of success in strategic marketing, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to work effectively in a culture strongly rooted in the federal government and with technically oriented business and program leaders. The position will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications.

Job Requirements:

  • Ten years of relevant experience in marketing and/or business development.

  • Ability to develop a marketing plan based on research and studies to ensure target audience is reached and anticipated outcome is achieved.

  • Experience working within or familiarity with government services organizations.

  • Knowledge of marketing disciplines including white paper development, web and SEO strategies, creation of collateral material, digital and print ad development, event support, community relations and how to determine the right mix to achieve the marketing goals in the most efficient manner possible.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with knowledge of Associated Press style guide. Proven ability to translate complex material into an engaging piece, easily understood by a general audience.

  • Proven ability to communicate and influence external stakeholders and all levels of the internal organization.

  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering C-suite presentations.

  • Proven ability to manage outside resources (advertising agencies, etc)

  • High level of energy, commitment and passion to achieve results; and the ability to work within urgent deadlines and establish priorities

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work without continuous management oversight

  • Project management skills and experience.

  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and with many styles of executives, program managers and subject matter experts, both at the corporate and business levels.

  • Excellent reasoning and decision-making skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and participate on teams.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite programs.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors or equivalent degree in political science, public relations, communications, marketing or related field.

Masters of Science (MS), Arts (MA), or MBA in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
