HR Generalist, Senior



As Human Resource Generalist, employee will be responsible for supporting Program and onsite operations' staff. Some of the main responsibilities include: - Compiling and reporting employee data and HR metrics - Performs regular audits to ensure integrity of personnel data. - Responsible for maintaining compliance with employee badging processes, renewals and vetting packages, LOA’s, visas, clearances, MRPT’s and associated requirements. - Responsible for distribution of employee contracts and EOC renewals, performance evaluation notifications, promotions and terminations, salary increments and deductions and all actions related to employee salary changes or discrepancies (i.e. changes in benefit deductions). - Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, communicating benefit information to employees, and termination of benefits. - Performs general tasks in such areas as employee records filing/retention, benefits administration and internal/external reporting requests. - Facilitates and conducts new employee orientation, benefits enrollment and employee out processing. - Maintains manual and automated personnel records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and prepares reports. - Furnishes information to authorized persons upon request. - Provides guidance and interpretation to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures. - Works collaboratively across functional areas such as Recruiting, Staffing and HR Travel - Acts as site point of contact for benefits, policy/procedure and personnel related questions. - May assist OMSS HR Manager and Senior Leadership, Ethics and Legal with employee relations investigations as required. - Provides as-needed support to OMSS HR Manager for employee relations issues, etc. - Responsible for compliance of HR site related SOP’s, Guidelines, Processes and Practices; including recommending updates and improvements. - May assist with employee travel arrangements in absence of HR Travel Coordinator - Other duties as assigned The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related discipline; or other related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required - Three years experience in a functional capacity within an HR department is essential - Demonstration of good understanding of HR policies and procedures, processes and programs, i.e. performance management, benefits, recruiting, and employment contracts is required - Must obtain a favorable MRPT as required by the position and maintain eligibility at the required security level for the duration of the contract. - Experience in an OCONUS environment working with a multi-cultural workforce is preferred - Previous PAE experience is preferred - Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, procedures and technical documentation - Advanced written and oral English communication skills - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees at all levels - Ability to understand and calculate evaluation results to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to draw and interpret charts and graphs to communicate results - Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and propose solutions - Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently - Self-directed and motivated - Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint - Exceptional organization and time management skills - Advanced ability to handle multiple tasks and details in a dynamic, fast-paced environment - Extremely flexible, with the ability to work through stressful situations in a professional manner
