Logisitics Clerk, Lead
This is trades supervisory position, based at the Union III, Iraq and will be associated with the Project Support Office (PSO). The selected candidate will be responsible for Union III logistics and warehousing requirements. This position reports to the Logistics Manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. DUTIES: - Manage the daily work requirements of two foreign national (FN) Logistics Clerks - Become proficient in the use and completion of work orders (WO) produced by the Work Orders for Windows (WOW) database - Develop a comprehensive knowledge of: - O&M contract (SAQMMA-12-D-0165) - Request for Proposal (SAQMMA-12-R-0012-A001) - C.3.H Housing, Office and Shop Areas - C.3.J.9 Hazardous Materials - C.4.G Kitchen Systems and Equipment - C.4.R Equipment, Spare Parts, Material Storage & Disposal of Trash, Debris & Hazardous Materials (HazMat) - C.9.J Hazardous materials - Program Management Plan (PMP) - Quality Control Plan - Emergency Action Plan - Develop a comprehensive knowledge of PAE logistics services, including: - Shipping and receiving functions, including stocking containers - Secure storage procedures - Receive, store and issue tools, spare parts, equipment, chemicals and hazardous materials (HazMat) coordination and processing of damage merchandise - Performing inventories and cycle counts, unpacking and verifying shipments - Shelving, bins, labeling - Comply with materials controls and issue procedures Drive a service truck and operate materials-handling equipment - Prepare and submit detailed reports, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager
EXPERIENCE: - The Logistics Lead must have a minimum of three years’ experience in a logistics department or warehouse - Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel - Ability to work effectively with multi-national staff and demanding customers REQUIRED: - Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. - Security Vetting: Must be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification level for the duration of the contract - Language Skills: Strong, professional, oral and written English communication skills - Citizenship: US Citizenship is not required for this position - Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination DESIRED: - Relevant overseas contract experience - Experience working with PAE experience OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Knowledge of ALL principles and processes involved in operating and supporting appliance functions at an overseas facility - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer services - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules - Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel - Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team - Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change - Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information - Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team - Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change - Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information
