Position Description Position Title: Pest Control Technician SOW Reference: C.15 Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Pest Control Technician shall provide all Pest Control services in a manner consistent with United States Embassy standards. Specific duties include but are not limited to: - Report to the Pest Control Lead and follow detailed work procedures and schedules for accomplishment of Pest Control services outlined in SOW section C.15 - Assist the implementation of a pest control services program to control small rodents, insects, termites, and other animals and insects deemed to be a problem within the environment of Baghdad. - Apply Pest Control materials, chemical solutions, poisonous baits, or mechanical traps to eliminate pests that infest buildings and surrounding areas. - Clean areas that harbor pests using rakes, brooms, shovels, and mops. - Assist in the disposal of hazardous materials generated by Pest Control. - Participate in safety training for Pest Control employees and properly use all safety equipment and supplies.


Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Must have a minimum of two years of pest control experience at an overseas facility. Education: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Language Required: Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in English. Security Clearance: Ability to pass RSO vetting requirements. Position Category: Foreign National
