Logistics Coordinator

Initial training will be provided in West Palm Beach, FL. Ultimately, this position is located on Andros Island in the Bahamas.


The Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission is to provide Naval Warfare Centers, the Fleet, and other customers with accurate undersea, surface, and in-air three-dimensional tracking data and other unique Atlantic test facilities. In support of Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), and Fleet readiness assessment and training. AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments.

Performs a variety of professional functions in support of Marine Services for the AUTEC Project.


  • Has primary responsibility for ordering, tracking, receiving, recording and distributing material obtained through open purchase and Federal Stock

  • Acts as training coordinator and maintaining Qual Cert folders.

  • Must be capable of learning and excelling in the use and operation of Maximo and Fed

Stock software packages

  • Maintains the Marine Services tool cribs, maintains inventory records, and checks tools in & out

  • Acts as Marine Services Department Fire Warden and Safety Representative

  • Audits vendors and maintains all vendor records.

  • Primary responsibility for Marine Services Department property control, performs audits

of same as required

  • Responsible for the Marine Services HAZ Waste and HAZMAT program.

  • Performs as Marine Support Specialist in the absence of that individual.


  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • MAXIMO experience preferred, MS Word, Excel and PPT.

  • Ability to handle multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well

  • under pressure

  • Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • This position requires the individual to be eligible to obtain a US Government security clearance; US Citizenship is required

  • Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.

  • A valid US Passport and Driver’s License is required.
