SAP is currently recruiting for a Sales Executive for its OEM/ISV Sales division in India. As part of the Digital Enterprise Platform Group, the OEM/ISV sales team is a highly successful organization that is responsible for partners that embed, bundle, or resell primarily SAP products, with a specialization on SAP’s Platform technologies, including, Business Analytics, Database and Technology (including SQL Anywhere, HANA and Sybase), Cloud (HCP), and Mobility solutions.

The OEM/ISV Sales Executive – Hunter role is responsible for recruiting and driving revenue from new OEM/ISV partners. The candidate is expected to drive exponential growth in license sales via net new ISV, SI, and hardware/device partners. The candidate will also be expected to manage existing partnerships, driving revenue by fulfilling contractual support requests and managing regular business plans. Interested applicants should be a seasoned sales professional with experience in dramatically growing sales in indirect or partner sales organizations, preferably with a background in OEM or ISVs. Driving large, strategic, multi-year partnerships will be a key component of the role. Contract, ordering, and operational duties are also a responsibility of this role. Secondarily, the candidate will also need to promote the OEM partner program to a wide range of smaller ISVs (including utlitizing our PE4AD program) and recruit ‘broadly’. The successful candidate will be able to work within a matrix team environment and be able to leverage cross functional resources to achieve goals.

This role is based in Mumbai, Delhi, or Bangalore, with expected medium travel throughout India.

Required Skills:

Proven sales skills, good technical knowledge and a business acumen including strong communication skills. Successful candidates should also have a keen awareness of software industry (key players, strategies, software trends). Must be able to effectively

  • Overachieve regional sales quotas and long-term contractual targets

  • Negotiate royalty based agreements and OEM legal contracts

  • Understand and grow volume-based smaller ISV recruiting

  • Thrive in a high-paced, results-driven organization

  • Liaise with local country SAP executives

  • Work with Presales, HR, IT, Finance, Support and other supporting teams

  • Communicate in written and spoken English. Other languages an asset. Education and Background: Bachelors degree preferably in business, MBA an assetMin 5 years successful software sales backgroundExperience in a multi-national, multi-lingual work environment is preferredHistory in OEM/ISV software sales would be an assetUnderstanding of SAP Platform products (including Cloud, Business Analytics, Databases, HANA, and Mobility) and latest business models, including IoT, M2M, and Industrie 4.0 are preferred
