The Lead Electrician is responsible for supervising a staff of up to ten American and Foreign nationals, completing reports and performing administrative duties, and is responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts for the electrical shop.
The Electrician maintains and repairs interior building electrical distribution including switchgears, uninterrupted power supplies, wiring, breaker panels, and electrical distribution system, switches , outlets, light fixtures, exit lights, and mounted emergency lights; performs a variety of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance or repair of equipment used to distribute or use electric energy; installs or repairs switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; works from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment. The Lead Electrician is responsible for supervising a staff of up to ten American and Foreign nationals, completing reports and performing administrative duties, and is responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts for the electrical shop.
Minimum Requirements: Experience: Must have 3 years of experience as a journeyman Electrician. Must have verifiable experience (1 year minimum) working under an American Journeyman Electrician. Previous overseas experience is highly desirable. Education: Must have an Electrician Vocational Diploma or completed an Apprentice program with a Journeyman Certificate. Language: Must be able to read, write and speak English and read English Technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
