Help Desk Technician


Handle daily maintenance and monitoring of managed hardware and software

Assist in workstation and server life cycle rotations

Provide support to network users for desktop computer, mobile computing devices, peripheral equipment, hardware and software-related errors, configuration and connectivity problems/issues, via telephone, email, and desk side when required

Respond to assigned Remedy work orders, resolving issues and documenting resolution details in the work order

Prepare, image, and install desktop and laptop computer systems and computer peripheral equipment

Prepare and process IT for resource reutilization


3+ years of experience

Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows Vista, Windows 7)

Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

Microsoft Office Products (2007 – 2010)

Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

Proficient with computer and server hardware

Strong troubleshooting skills

Strong customer service skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Active Secret clearance

Must be able to obtain Security+ prior to start staring work


Associate of Science degree in IT
