The FX Officer is responsible for carrying out conversion of FCY to INR and further investment in Indian markets. It further requires correspondence with TRY, Settlements, Corporate action and Client service unit for ensuring trades are confirmed on stock exchanges within the cutoff. The person should have understanding of overall security market along with relevant regulations

Performing various processing checks and raising marking for conversion of currency.

  • Interaction with treasury for timely resolution of rates and escalation for any delay.

  • Initiating inward remittance (DDA) as per client instruction

  • Meet various market cutoff

  • Perform various control checks at the time of processing payments.

  • Investigate and reply to various queries raised by client on email.

  • Ensuring records are adequately maintained both onsite and at RMU location and can be retrieved immediately whenever required

  • Prepare various daily/monthly reports as per client requirement if any

  • Contribute towards process enhancement and automations in the unit
