H&E Equipment Services has an immediate opening for a Shop Foreman. The Shop Foreman reports directly to the Service / Operations Manager and the direct line of communication between the Service / Operations Manager and shop technicians. The Shop foreman is responsible for ensuring shop jobs are completed in a timely fashion and reporting daily progress updates to the Service / Operations Manager. Other responsibilities include maintaining and surveying that all technicians working in the shop are following H&E’s safety standards while performing their daily duties.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic with 1-2 years’ of previous supervisory experience is desired

• Must demonstrate competency in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Cranes and Heavy Equipment

• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills

• Computer skills including MS Office Suite, smartphones and tablets is desired

• The ability to train lower level employees

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Factory, Mechanical or Vocational training is very beneficial

• Mechanical/Supervisory experience in the industrial or heavy equipment field
