Description Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions is available immediately in the group of Dr. Bruce Ksander at the Schepens Eye Research Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. The position is a post-graduate position in which the individual will be responsible for conducting independent research projects.
We are looking to recruit a talented individual with a background in cell biology, developmental biology, or stem cell biology to work on a project that studies the function of limbal stem cells in corneal epithelial cell development, homeostasis, and wound healing. Candidates must have either and M.D. and/or Ph.D. and experience working with animals is desired. Requirements Candidates are expected to work independently, be highly creative and self-motivated. They must be able to work collaboratively and be interested in working with individuals from many different backgrounds including clinicians and basic scientists. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Successful fellows will have opportunities to develop his/her own project, acquire new skills, participate in grant writing, and participate in seminars and other academic activities, including presenting at national conferences.
