Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary RESEARCH FELLOW in Boston, Massachusetts

Description The Research Fellowship will assist the Chief Quality Officer and Ophthalmology Investigators in organizing ongoing data collection for the Ophthalmology Department and sub-specialty service outcomes databases. In addition, he or she will enter data into registry databases and assist in outcomes and database-associated administrative tasks and project management, including IRB submissions, hospital publications, and quality and outcomes research.

Doctoral degree required, and ophthalmology residency training preferred. Thorough knowledge of relational database, graphics, spreadsheets and other software packages (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Access, Paradox) preferred.

Individual must possess strong quantitative, organizational, verbal and problem solving skills. Must work well independently and as a part of a team. Attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadline pressure are essential.
