Role Summary:

The Data & Analytics Specialist has responsibilities in the areasof master data, process & systems support, reporting, and projects toimprove productivity and a better customer experience.They ensure accurate, consistent, normalizeddata resulting in strong governance; they provide subject matter expertise andproject support to various initiatives; and they develop reports and queries toanalyze data to solve inquiries or identify opportunities. This includesnetworking across businesses to assess organizational transformation and theimpact on processes and systems, and establishing a proactive approach formanaging changes to data, requirements, reporting, and functionality.The incumbent will be part of the SBS NAProject Management Organization (PMO), will report to the Data & Analytics Lead.


Provides SBS process & systems support as follows:

  • Works collaboratively across businesses and theregion to proactively diagnose issues and change requests and challenge, track,prioritize and resolve these issues in order to increase efficiency.Troubleshoot integration issues betweensystems.

  • Manages functional aspects of existing datamanagement, analytics and reporting systems, implement enhancements, andmaintain related SBS processes to effectively collect, analyze, and reportinformation.

  • Provides ongoing data maintenance activities tosupport operations and various initiatives.

  • Provides application support such as processingscheduled tasks, support month end closing and the budget/forecasting process,etc.

  • Creates and maintains process & systemsgovernance documents.

  • Supports major global business initiatives toimplement standards for the corporation’s data management program and executevarious global governance processes for various master data elements.

  • Enable measurement of shared service centerperformance indicators and non-compliance reporting through reporting solutions

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls andfinancial policies and procedures;ensure integrity of procedures and evidence of controls which contributeto system and data security; provide requested information to auditors

Provides SBS Project support as follows:

  • Propose changes/enhancements to the functionalrequirements, determines system specifications and develops procedures andprocesses that improve overall accounting requirements.

  • Recommend, design, implement innovative solutionsto meet the organizational needs and effectively analyzes change impacts.

  • Leads the testing validation effort, anddevelops appropriate supporting documentation

  • Evaluates current processes and identify processimprovement opportunities, including development of automated controls.Work directly with SBS stakeholders toanalyze specific business requirements and deliver cost effective solutionsdesigned to improve the efficiency and quality of financial information.

  • Lead user groups in the evaluation of reportsand system design to identify opportunities

  • Represents NA in Global financial systemsprojects


  • The Data & Analytics Team supports and participatesin a variety of activities.Members ofthe team complement each other and are able to provide in depth expertise in atleast one or more of these areas:

  • ERP:SAPand related systems

  • Procure to Pay solutions: Ariba, Coupa,Catalyst, Aravo, etc.

  • Budgeting, forecasting and decision supporttools:TM1, PLANIT

  • Analytics and Decision Support tools (Excel,Access, Reporting tools, etc.)

  • Expertise in SAP R3 Financial ApplicationModules;minimum 5 years experience withextensive knowledge on SAP Financial applications, master data and reports withan understanding of accounting/finance including, general ledger, accounts receivable,accounts payable, purchasing, fixed assets and project accounting.

  • Experience in data migration process &tools, with an attention to detail, along with the ability to troubleshoot andresolve issues.

  • Capability to work in a regional organizationwith multiple clients, dealing effectively and professionally across business.

  • Ability to influence all levels of managementand other functional areas (business, finance, legal…).

  • Strong internal customer & business focus,result orientation and change management experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a systematicapproach to work with care taken over detail and confidentiality.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,team work, data & analytics skills.


Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.Experience in lieu of degree will also beconsidered.
