Job Purpose :

The HRSS Migrations and Reengineering Lead manages a team of project managers/analyst and reengineering specialists to identify and execute reengineering and migration opportunities within the EMEA region. He/she leads initiatives by providing tools, framework and best practices to embed the reengineering mindset and culture across the organisation. A key part of the role is also to drive the migration of work from countries to shared service centres in line with the objectives of process efficiency, improved controls and cost reduction.

Job Background :

HR Shared Services provides services covering On-boarding, Employee Life-Cycle, Off-boarding, Payroll and Time Tracking, Compensation Administration and HR systems support. In partnership with country HR, HRSS strives to provide excellent customer service to its employees and managers whilst focusing on process re-engineering and initiatives to enhance the Shared Services role in Citi.

This role manages the regional migrations and reengineering team which is responsible for executing all migrations projects and reengineering initiatives in the region.

Key Responsibilities :

HRSS leadership responsibilities:

  • Be part of EMEAHRSS Leadership team, take part and drive regional decision making and strategy development by identifyingreengineering and migration opportunities in alignment with Operations needs.

  • Work with HRSSregional and global management to coordinate vision, strategy, approach andresource to expanding the coverage and depth of the services provided by HRSS

  • Represent HRSSat different regional and global forums, focusing on building and maintainingstrong relationship with HR and other business partners and work to strengthenthe reputation of HRSS.

  • Buildrelationships with HRSS’s global and regional partners in each project area,conducting regular

  • Meetings toshare ideas and collaborate on projects where possible

  • Participate inthe annual budget process. Haveaccountability for meeting reengineering and migrations’ budgets and othertargets in support of HRSS’s wider goals.

HRSS project delivery responsibilities:

  • People manage ateam of project managers/analysts and reengineering specialists ensuring thatthere is the proper focus on execution excellence and continual strengtheningteam performance while enabling team and individual growth. The team isresponsible for the full lifecycle of the projects from opportunityidentification, business case preparation, due diligence, project planning andexecution to ensuring effective handover to operations at the end of theproject.

  • Manage theproject portfolio by being responsible for project prioritization and resourceallocation in alignment with regional strategy.

  • Manage andeffectively engage stakeholders such as HRSS Global partners, EMEA HRSS SLT,HRSS regional partners, Operations leads, Finance, HR to identify and executeopportunity areas that will yield productivity savings, more robust controls,and enhanced customer satisfaction.

  • Developinitiatives, training programs to embed a reengineering mindset across theorganization and promote process standardisation through adopting and sharingglobal best practice.

Knowledge andExperience :

  • Extensive project management experience preferablyin migrations/reengineering projects within HR shared services and payrollarea. Experience in leading multiple projects in a virtual environment.

  • Excellent working knowledge of HR businessprocesses and shared services operations.

  • Proven track record in building and maintainingrelationships with multiple, often senior, stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated abilityto build high performing teams..

Qualifications :

  • College/university Degree level

  • Project managementQualification and Certified lean expert and/or Green Belt (6sigma) an advantage
