Robert Half is working with a multinational construction manufacturing and packaging client in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst looking for growth in a fast paced, growing environment. Our client has operations in 6 different continents, and serves customers in 110 different countries. Reporting directly to the manager of financial analysis, this is a great opportunity for an established Sr. Financial Analyst looking for the next step in their career and open to possible growth into management down the line. Great leadership. Get into a ton of analysis to support the business. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, your daily responsibilities would encompass:
Acting as a financial advisor to the business teams, supporting the Division President and Director of Finance
Providing financial support, including but not limited to the following:
Providing timely analysis of financial performance showing key drivers for deviations from target (volume, price, mix and FX)
Analyzing the P&L;, providing variances explanation to forecast
Analysis of sales, margins and operating expense trends, identifying areas of opportunity to improve results
Working closely with the business teams in the development of the annual operating plan (AOP)
Analyzing customer pricing initiatives, rebates and new customer contracts making recommendations where necessary
Proactive in driving actions to maximize business opportunities and results
Working closely with Marketing to support the Strategic Plan process
Supporting the monthly forecasting process as well as the month end closing process
Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as needed

Requirements: The ideal Sr. Financial Analyst will bring:
Bachelor's Degree, MBA highly preferred
5+ years of progressive finance/ accounting experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills
Highly motivated and driven professional, able to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously. Strong work ethic. Excellent interpersonal skills
Advanced PC skills required – Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential
Must be able to multi-task and balance priorities
