Service Area Overview: Northside Hospital's Patient Care Administration supports nursing leadership in delivering optimal patient care through leadership, coordination, and consultation, and by developing and evaluating programs, standards, and clinical practice.

Position Description: The House Coordinator coordinates patient care activities within the hospital on an assigned shift (7p - 7a). In the absence of the CNO and/or his designated representative, the House Coordinator serves as the highest official on duty, and is responsible for ensuring the continuity of patient care services and other administrative activities.

Position Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Seven years nursing experience, with at least two years in critical care nursing. Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred. Good written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, management principles and methods, and hospital policies and procedures.
