Position Description

The Deposits & Consumer Payments Customer Strategy and Innovation Manager will help the business grow and transform in new ways by innovating and building solutions to both new and old problems. Responsible for supporting the overall DCP strategy by partnering with key stakeholders in business planning processes, understanding business challenges in context of customer needs, identifying new opportunities and screening potential strategic partnerships. Accountable to drive revenues, improve experiences, increase efficiencies and/or reduce cost while enhancing customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Track industry trends to help drive holistic consumer and product strategy
  • Leverage consumer data and analytics to identify new interactions, process changes, and new business/partnership opportunities
  • Develop and deliver issue-based solutions based on detailed data analysis that help DCP make faster, smarter decisions
  • Lead the development of businesses cases
  • Formulate output derived from concept/vendor/partnership assessment into concise and articulate presentations with focus on pragmatic recommendations/solutions
  • Partner with DCP stakeholders (analytics, marketing, customer care, pricing, digital) to understand business problems and identify opportunities to differentiate the customer experience
  • Lead and coordinate projects and tasks as required
  • Support annual planning process
  • Actively structure and drive the innovation governance process

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 years of experience
  • Balance of analytical and innovative mindset -- thinks deeply yet creatively
  • Core analytics strategy skills (assessment, strategy definition, business case, roadmap development, etc.)
  • Demonstrated presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal skills
  • Strong story-telling ability
  • High-energy, roll-up your sleeves attitude and commitment to success
  • Experience with translating detailed data analysis into business strategy with executable plans
  • Strong leadership skills; able to bring people and perspectives together and build confidence and trust with colleagues across all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to create momentum around ideas and drive change
  • Strong PC skills required; MS Power Point and Excel proficiency is a must
