Eaton Corporation Senior Manufacturing Technician in Chelsea, Massachusetts
*Eaton in Chelsea, MA has an opening for a 1st shift Senior Manufacturing Technician. * You will work closely with the manufacturing supervisor and group leaders in the successful transition of new products into our manufacturing area (NPI). Will be responsible for clarifications and updates to work instructions and other associated documentation during the NPI process.

Will be responsible for clarifications and updates to work instructions and other associated documentation during the NPI process.
Work from verbal/written instructions, customer purchase orders, drawings, wiring schematics, specifications, procedures, test methods, etc.
Be proactive and work independently while managing multiple priorities in support of manufacturing
Compliance with and adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety rules and regulations is a condition of employment
Follow good housekeeping practices in work area and maintain tools, equipment and supplies in clean and operational condition
Support other manufacturing and quality operations as required
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution or Technical school graduate (electronics, electrical or mechanical)
Minimum of two years related experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the Eaton Chelsea, MA facility will be considered.
Five years related experience in a contract manufacturing environment
Test equipment programming
Working knowledge of SAP
Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Excel and Word
Individual must have working experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing techniques and equipment including hand tools, measurement devices, soldering techniques and equipment, electrical test equipment and methods
A solid understanding of ISO9000 and/or AS9100 quality management systems (QMS) as well as a thorough understanding of IPC-620, IPC J-STD100 and military specifications is required.
