Business/Department Objectives:

Team will be responsible for providing Trade processing support for India Trade Ops involving the processing of Trade Finance products related to Documentary Credits/Documentary Collections/Open Account Payments with an understanding of underlying Trade documentation, Fund Transfer, and SWIFTS

Core Responsibilities:

  • Team Management- Team Lead role

  • Risk and Control

  • Revenue and Cost management

  • Support/participate in new projects/migrations and ensure smooth cut over with minimized risks – internal and external

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day operational tasks in trade transactional processing as per the scope of services covered under the Trade Outsourcing Agreement with clients

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high quality services to clients through meeting or exceeding client expectation guided by the Service Level Agreement, and efficiency/accuracy standards.

  • Ensure awareness and full compliance of trade finance rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, and practices

  • Provide technical support to Relationship Managers of various business units

  • Candidates with working experience in international trade activities, logistic or shipping line is preferred

  • Good PC software application knowledge

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Maintain performance metrics to track defects, productivity

  • Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures

  • Ensure service quality is maintained

  • Understand customer requirements

  • Assist in developing training database, training materials, trackers for the migration

  • Support training for new staffs

  • Ensure training and parallel run are well planned and executed

  • Participate in cross functional projects at unit level


  • 2nd and 4th Saturday Off subject to Workflow. 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday will be full day working.

  • Shift Timing: India/EMEA shift on rotation basis.




  • Bachelor Degree (commerce/science stream preferred)


  • 9-10 years


  • Ability to execute and exceed both internal and customer expectations in a team-oriented Operations environment

  • Ability to work as a team with offsite partners

  • Consistent ability to adapt to process changes quickly and accurately

  • Strong attention to detail is required to ensure the data privacy of our client information


  • Leadership Qualities Clear Oral and Written Communication, Good Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint



  • Post-graduation degree in commerce/business management


  • Previous experience in managing team - India Trade Import Payments


  • CDCS Certified


  • Confidence, self-motivation and plenty of initiative

  • Strong people management skills

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work

  • Ability to build working relationships with stakeholders

  • Good oral and written communication skills
