Responsibilities Overview: Central Ops Finance Manager will be a key business partner to the operations team, with a focus on R&D;, procurement, maintenance & reliability, freight, logistics and PcI-PdI. The role is an integral member of the finance team and will support the Supply Chain Manager under the EVP of Manufacturing. The role reports to the Director of Finance – Operations FP&A; and will have three direct reports. Specifically, he/she will be expected to: 1. Deliver P2M metrics, cost savings initiatives and management reporting for procurement. (30%) ---Dashboard / Scorecard for key categories; clear representation of procurement performance to PY, multi-year averages, design and benchmark (where applicable) ---Reconcile procurement spend to financial statements ---Reconcile procurement savings (YOY) to financial statements ---Provide a detailed bridge of actual cost to design; analysis of key drivers and trends ---Design/contract spend benchmarked against market and competition ---Standardize tracking / reporting of project savings ---Improve coordination between cost team, plants and procurement 2. Support maintenance team in development and improvement of reliability best practices and KPIs. (20%) --Track performance of planning and execution compliance; highlight gaps and partner with plant teams to hit KPI targets --Partner with plants to launch new maintenance initiatives (ex. network lube and consumables programs) --Support storeroom upgrade initiative, with a focus on cycle counting, part ordering, job kitting and down-day planning 3. Partner with R&D; to deliver both new product and cost savings initiatives. (20%) --Provide monthly close and forecast analysis to NA R&D; team --Analyze savings initiatives and track associated projects vs. annual targets --Partner with the team in the analysis, write-up and submission of R&D; CERs 4. Provide financial analysis and drive initiatives across the broader operations organization, to include projects within freight, logistics and PcI-PdI. (30%)
