This position exists to manage the GSE & Facilities expense and capital budget planning processes. Key deliverables include a 5 year GSE & Facilities investment plan, reduced total cost of ownership of GSE & Facilities assets and GSE and Facilities performance metrics based on real time data.


  • Manages the financial systems and overall planning functions that support (GSE) ground service equipment maintenance for a fleet of 40,000 assets and facility maintenance operations including terminal, campus and building maintenance operations in 30 locations

  • Develops and implements a centralized facility project request (FPR) system to ensure optimal resource allocation for maintenance, repair and upkeep

  • Manages corporate baggage handling system (BHS) asset allocation needs and the replacement strategy that forecasts multi-year capital investments

  • Leads AFE processes in conjunction with division financial programs

  • Develops policy, establishes controls and manages business processes that ensure compliance with corporate and divisional expectations for managing optimum asset performance and life cycle management

  • Partners with GSE, Facilities, station leadership and Procurement to ensure optimum cost efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership

  • Leads financial planning and management programs supporting business optimization and cost control

  • Tracks the GSE and Facilities operating budgets and leads efforts to address variances and ensure cost synergy targets are met

  • Directs the development and implementation of internal financial controls to safeguard company assets, verifies accuracy and reliability of data, ensures adherence to SOX regulations and promotes operation efficiency and adherence to management policy

  • Ensures consistent analysis and reporting of performance data with an understanding of GSE and Facility Maintenance processes

  • Analyzes roll-up data, identifies trends and recognizes business opportunities engaging CI resources as appropriate for improvement

  • Delivers presentations to senior leadership



  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Management or related degree or equivalent work experience required



  • Strong visionary leadership, planning and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, organizational management, defining accountability, identifying improvement opportunities

  • Proven capability to influence and manage change

  • Ability to build strong internal and external business relationships. Experience

  • 2-4 years in a financial planning or analysis role required

  • 1-2 years proven ability to construct, present and gain buy in from senior leaders on business strategies


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
