Bayer Regional Accounts Director - IDN in Chicago, Residence Based, TX, Illinois

Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role : •Execute Customer Strategy and Business Development of Regional markets •Develop and maintain profitable access and funding for Bayer products at Hospital System, IDN customer accounts, including oversight of account team activities in the C/D suites and TA service line •Direct identification and assessment of new and innovative business opportunities to drive profitable short and long term customer partnerships and institutional sales . •Lead customer planning and prioritization efforts, and partner with Contracting to design and execute profitable negotiations across HSI Customer and partner with Channel Marketing to provide market insights and perspective regarding optimal channel strategies and tactics •Direct process to monitor and communicate interactions with customers that operate within a highly integrated geography, and ensures ecosystem insights are collected and shared to create harmonized engagement tactics within the ecosystem. •Foster and maintain Regionally critical executive level relationships •Internal Collaborating, Coordinating and Alignment Enable flow of field-base channel insights to Channel Marketing, Brand Access Teams and BUs to enable better understanding of HS&IN customers, market dynamics and competitive trends that could impact profitable access •Lead collaborative, coordinated efforts (ecosystem focus) to facilitate alignment between field leadership partners such as FRMs, BU & CGC field directors, and Medical on translation of the customer’s critical missions and development of proactive solutions to minimize obstacles. •Provide strategic input to account managers to ensure account management activities align to and support business objectives across HS&IN accounts •Identify and monitor new or evolving customer system archetypes and provide input for prioritizing/segmenting coverage needs. •Performance Management and Resource Allocation -Attract and maintain best-in-class account management resources, and drive the refinement of account manager competencies through internal developmental efforts •Optimize allocation of account management teams to interface with Payer and PBM customers •Identify and implement continuous improvement efforts and knowledge sharing initiatives among account teams to emphasize and disseminate best practices •Support the development of performance metrics prioritizing the critical "must wins" and implement ongoing measurement at the field level •Facilitate the development and alignment of optimal resources to foster successful Ecosystem customer team strategic engagement.

•Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred •12+ years related work experience in sales and / or account management in the pharmaceutical industry •5+ years experience in Managed Markets (preferred) •3+ years Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) experience within an IHS/ID (required) •5+ years experience in a supervisory role, or position leading a team or teams (required) •Experience executing market access strategies for IHS/IDN accounts , and exposure to contract development and negotiations for same preferred
