Marketing Program [Content and Campaign] Manager
The Marketing Program [Content and Campaign] Manager will create high-quality, valuable content to attract, inform, and engage an audience, while also promoting the brand itself. In this new role, the Manager will produce content as well as lead the deployment of a new marketing automation platform. This person should have a strong understanding of how to work in content management systems for web publishing and how to get different technologies to work well together, integrated with CRM. It’s also critically important this person has strong content management experience and understands how to apply technology to support business processes and campaign workflows.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
Strong project management and execution. This person should be able to multi-task and produce high quality results in a timely fashion. They also will need to coordinate with many people, departments, and agencies to make sure that a content piece gets produced—that is where the project management comes in.
Strong writing skills with content marketing experience. Copywriting requirements will span across multiple marketing assets, for example: white papers, infographics, video scripting, case studies, social media, SEO and blogging. This will include a mixture of creating new content, repurposing content and project managing content from subject matter experts.
Campaign management experience. Ability to run the full life cycle of programs from initial planning, to development, content, rollout, and measuring results. A strong understanding of customer personas and how to provide sales enablement.
Strong analytical, digital marketing and demand generation skills. This person needs to be able to leverage technologies and platforms to determine the right information to capture, analyze and report. Additionally, this person will be responsible for sharing insights and interpretations of marketing information that are meaningful to executives at any level.
Working with graphic designer and web teams to develop creative conception, positioning, planning, implementation and management of externally directed marketing communications, messages and programs.
Participate in various Convergys marketing communications committees, and work with Convergys executives to provide communications support for corporate and business unit marketing and sales programs.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college in related field, with a minimum of seven years of experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external candidates
Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret
Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism
Solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry. Demonstrated business acumen
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
