Robert Half is actively recruiting a financial analyst for a growing manufacturing firm in Colorado Springs.We are recruiting a Financial Analyst for our client a national company with a regional focus. The Financial Analyst will report to the Controller and assist in the coordination of divisions daily accounting activities with all levels of management, communicate and report weekly results to division management team, role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others Duties for the Financial Analyst include: assisting in the preparation of periodic financial statements and the various analyses and entries to properly record all the financial activities, file required reports with corporate and with government agencies accurately and in a timely manner, instruct and advise stores how to efficiently handle reports and records required by the Accounting Department, assist the Controller in counseling the division management concerning operations, inventory and other problems relating to financial control, assist the Controller with project budgets for new, expanded, remodeled or closed stores based on understanding of the financial model, assist the Assistant Controller with preparing weekly gross profit reports including asset management, budgeting, financial analysis and cost control, serve as a liaison with corporate and regional accounting centers, to ensure proper accounting procedures are followed, responsible for accurate timely accounting in accordance with company policies and procedures, prepare ad hoc reports of financial transactions in a timely manner, responsible for maintaining a system of internal audit and inventory, must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. It is required the Financial Analyst have a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, possess ability to analyze and interpret key issues of all levels of complexity, strong written communication skills, excellent time management skills. It is required the Accounting Analyst have five or more years of General Ledger accounting and analysis experience.
