RT Logic is a leading supplier of ground signal processing systems (RF, DSP, and digital domains) for satellite operations including factory test, launch, business operations, and assured mission capabilities. Our technology also supports non-space applications. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Director!

Our systems and technologies support RF Interference Detection/ Mitigation as well as RF Data Analytics, Offensive and Defensive Counter Space, Niche Navigation, Mission Assurance, Space Situational Awareness, threat modeling and simulation, and related training/TTP validation capabilities. We have an exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs for a technically-oriented Business Development Director to lead our strategic business development initiatives for Space Control and Space Situational Awareness. The qualified candidate will have a proven record in the Space Control community, demonstrated BD experience, a network of existing contacts in the Space Control community, a thorough working knowledge of DoD and intelligence community acquisitions/operations, and a strong technical background.

  • Establish strong, trusted customer relationships in Space Control, DoD, and IC communities

  • Develop a deep understanding of RT Logic practices, products and technologies (frequent travel required)

  • Develop strategic plans for penetration of RT Logic products and technologies into the Space Control domain

  • Coordinate capabilities briefings, demonstrations, customer meetings, tradeshow attendance for multiple business areas

  • Attend relevant industry conferences, trade shows, workshops, forums, etc. to form strategic business relationships for the above growth markets

  • Track and ensure follow-through on opportunities and coordinate opportunity reviews with SMC/SY and other similar customers

  • Advise RT Logic business segments of significant opportunities and generate sales leads

  • Complete and negotiate strategic sales transactions for RT Logics offerings both directly to the government and through prime/sub relationships

  • Prepare and perform technical-oriented business development presentations demonstrating an ability to communicate comfortably with customer systems engineers and program managers

  • Leverage existing inroads to strategic customers to provide business opportunities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating a common understanding of clients requirements and expectations

Experience and Skills:

  • B.S. Engineering

  • Existing SCI and SAP clearances

  • Space Control background

  • DoD and/or Intelligence background (some Space Control experience)

  • Proven track record in developing new business for a technology, product-based company

  • Extensive network of business contacts in one or more of the markets mentioned

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in applying technology such as digital, networks, analog or signals

  • Relevant, current industry experience and strategic technical insight to assist in penetrating target markets

  • Proven track record of business development, including proposal development for complex systems and giving product demonstrations

  • Demonstrated experience in systems engineering and systems architecture

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
