Description PERSONAL FINANCES: Must have the ability to manage personal finances.
An agent’s responsibility is to focus on growing and enhancing customer relationships and process full range of financial transactions via Integrated Teller Machines (ITM’s) accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position requires a genuine desire to engage consumers in conversations and deliver a positive, energetic experience. Use computerized systems for customer authentication, information gathering/validation and processing business as usual, as well as exception transactions. Must have good communication skills in a face to face customer environment and be comfortable being on camera at all times, as customers will see the Video Banker Agent via video transmission from the ITM to the Video Banker Agent computer desktop. Agent must act as American National Bank's face to the customer and consistently seek to delight our customers by demonstrating core standards. Build customer loyalty through courtesy and friendliness, including addressing each customer by name. Demonstrate American National Bank core values in all actions. Reliable attendance is critical.
In addition to the employee’s regular responsibilities American National Bank realizes that a cohesive Compliance Program is the responsibility of every employee in the bank to ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection laws and regulations. Total bank support is required, but the Audit Committee and Management acknowledge that their influence, direction, and guidance are critical to implementing an effective Compliance Program. It is also a requirement that all employees especially Management and Officers demonstrate unequivocal support of the Compliance Program so that all bank employees understand and perceive the importance of the Compliance Program. Management's involvement will be critical to administering an effective Compliance Program.
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS:
Customer service experience in financial services, service industry, retail sales or a goal-oriented environment highly preferred.
Thrive on engaging with customers; can begin a conversation, build rapport, and handle objections with a positive personality with a video presence at all times.
Ability to work effectively as a team member and work independently
Strong communication skills (including verbal and non-verbal) and active listening skills.
Multi-tasking with careful attention to detail and time management
Comfortable asking customers about their financial needs, goals and objectives.
*creativity and ability to adapt approach to different situations as needed
Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Comfortable with emerging technologies (e.g., virtual customer interactions)
Proven results in exceeding goals in a customer-centric, results-driven environment.
Willing and able to work flexible hours between Monday-Friday 7-7 pm and Saturday 8-1 pm
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (fluent verbal and written skills).
Previous banking/financial services experience.
Ability to identify and mitigate potential fraud and other transaction risk.
Technology proficient - strong core technology skills, coupled with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use new technology.
Ability communicating via virtual technology (e.g., Skype, FaceTime, Video Conferencing).
Experience providing customer service in a virtual environment
