Citizens Bank CMOD Application Developer in Cranston, Rhode Island


The Application Developer designs and develops application code in response to business problems, and may participate as part of a team on development and/or support related work.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Designs, develops, modifies, supports, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing

  • Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs

  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans.

  • Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation

  • Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.

  • Trains users in conversion and implementation of system


  • Experience developing and/or supporting applications with at least one of the following: SQL, Websphere, Java, PERL, .NET, HTML, VB, Endevor, Cron, ETL

  • Experience working on one of the following platforms: Windows, UNIX, Mainframe

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and repair application software issues

  • Analysis coordination with internal and external Audit groups


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
