Position Description:

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at CGI Federal! CGI is seeking a Junior Java Developer to support our DOJ Customer in Crystal City, VA. Due to the nature of the gov't contract, US Citizenship is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Java Developer will be responsible for the following:

  • Support all activities at the operations and maintenance level for Tier 3 Support.

  • Support interfaces between the deployment of developed applications and the decommissioning of legacy applications.

  • Support with the Development and Infrastructure Teams.

  • Provide technical support via the plan, execute, and lead delivery of custom software solutions for large-scale centralized database; perform incident management that involves troubleshooting and resolving issues based upon service level agreements with the client; analyze business requirements, operations changes, and design solutions in Java.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must be a US Citizen

Bachelor’s degree is highly desired but not required; minimum 6 months of Java development experience (which may include academic, internships and/or professional experience)
