Position Description:

Candidate will serve as a financial projects coordinator for the Managed Advantage (MA) Delivery Director as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO). Candidate will report to the Sr. PMO Manager in the Managed Advantage organization. Candidate should have a minimum of four (4) to seven (7) years of prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze member actual hours worked against projections across a portfolio of engagements.

  • Track, analyze, and report on monthly expenses across multiple projects.

  • Assist the MA Delivery Director with revenue forecasting, asset amortization, cost allocation, budget planning, etc. across a multiple projects and in summary to the department level.

  • Provide streamlined financial reporting to the MA Delivery Director and other executive leadership members.

  • Assist with invoice tracking, revenue recognition, reporting, etc. across multiple projects.

  • Support the staffing/recruiting efforts by assessing candidate fit to requirements and tolerance for candidate's salary requirement based on engagements' budget.

  • Model and analyze financial targets/margins for potential sales initiatives.

Role entails the following performance commitment levels:

• Perform at “meets” or “exceeds” levels in all areas of responsibility.

• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism with client stakeholders, internal CGI stakeholders, and local/global delivery teams to establish solid working relationships with these groups.

• Exhibit confidence/maturity in interactions with all members of these organizations.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills – extensive macros, complex linked tabs/workbooks, pivot tables, and data analytics using Excel and other related tools.

Financial acumen – must be familiar with concepts such as revenue, margin, pay scales, expenses, amortization, etc. (is not required to be an Accountant or a full CGI Financial Analyst).

Ability to recognize and absolutely maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Capacity to adjust work schedule to meet pressurized financial deadlines (i.e., willing to work late or on weekends if required to meet strict financial reporting deadlines on occasion).

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to create ‘information’ from ‘data’ using visual or other methods for management level presentations.

Ability to perform independent trend analysis from data to be used in forecasting.

Usable to moderate Microsoft Access skills.

Ability to independently organize and prioritize the assigned workload to ensure assignments are worked from concept to completion.

Excellent communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and a high degree of responsiveness are also expected.

Microsoft Visio experience a plus.

SharePoint experience a plus.

OneNote experience is a plus.

Team-oriented focus, knowledge sharing, professional in all situations (including high stress), ability to thrive in a non-conventional/virtual work environment, and self-motivated.

Bachelor’s degree/above or equivalent work experience.
