Job Description

Entry level position for the application of engineering, mathematics, operations research, and M&S (modeling & simulation) skills to assess aircraft survivability in various environments. The ideal candidate should have a skill set composed from the following areas:

  • Data Analysis – the processing of raw aircraft survivability data into information useful for decision-making by users;

  • Statistical and Numerical Analysis - application of statistical and numerical analysis to various problem sets;

  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) – utilization of M&S tools and data to address analytical questions;

  • Computer Skills – utilization of applications in a Linux and Window environments

  • Communication Skills (oral and written) - to translate analytical results to customers

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience and / or potential to understand the modeling and simulation of Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), radars, sensors, shooters, and communication networks

  • Understanding of the DoD acquisition process (e.g. System Program Office experience) a plus

Required Skills

  • US citizenship with current Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Operations Research, and / or Computer Science

  • Experience with Python, Mathematica, MATLAB, and/or Microsoft Office products

  • Self-motivated yet able to work well within a team
