Food Production Checker / Finalist Agent - Denver, CO (DEN)

Starting salary: $9.92 / hour

Please note that this position will be hired under the Chelsea Food Services divisional work rules.


The Food Production Checker / Finalist agent is responsible for making sure that all items going to a flight are correct before moving the carts/carriers to the dock to be loaded onto the trucks to be taken to the aircraft.


  • Inspect all outgoing flights for correct quantity and product

  • Responsible for the follow through for equipment changes on aircraft changes

  • Comply with Chelsea Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements

  • Note and process up counts for flights as needed

  • Physically inspect all carriers and ovens to ensure proper count of meals in accordance with flight schedule

  • Check that adequate temperature is maintained in refrigeration unit for meals

  • Maintain a clean work area per Food and Drug Administration (FDA

  • Restock products in the final cooler as needed

  • Keep updated on all flight and menu changes

  • Remove all out-dated products from the final cooler in accordance with First-In/First-Out (FIFO) method

  • Perform other duties as assigned




  • High school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or educational equivalent required


  • Must be willing and able to work in a climate-controlled (minimum temperature of 38 degrees F) for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to read and interpret paperwork and documents to complete daily tasks

  • Must be able to calculate percentages and totals for final counts

  • Must be detailed oriented

  • Must be willing and able to work under time constraints

  • Must be willing and able to push and pull up to 60 pounds

  • Must be willing and able to carry and lift up to 53 pounds

  • Must be willing and able to perform frequent and repetitive motions, including walking, standing, bending, stretching, reaching, lifting and carrying


  • Must be willing, able and flexible to work any shift assigned to cover a 24-hour-a-day / 7-day-a-week operation to include: early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and overtime as needed

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

  • Must be able to maintain regular and dependable attendance

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • The position is located in Denver, CO and United Airlines will not offer relocation assistance if the successful candidate does not already reside in the general Denver, CO area
