The mission of GCD is to achieve customer’s success and retention for SAP by efficient and flawless implementation of all SAP solutions with a strong focus on the digitalization agenda of customers.
Business Transformation Services (BTS) is part of GCD. Its core mission is to drive the digitalization agenda of our customers through Innovation Roadmaps, Transformation Programs and Value Governance based on SAP`s Digital Portfolio with a clear focus on customer success.
The Head of BTS MENA acts as market maker, people manager, thought leader and orchestrator of the team in significant Digital Transformation initiatives at SAP customers.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
Develop business for BTS MENA and SAP (software & services)
Implement strategic SAP & DBS goals e.g. shift customers to SAP cloud, realize customers’ digital agenda and drive SAP S/4 HANA adoption
Execute Global BTS objectives in the MENA region
Ensure customer satisfaction and excellent quality of BTS delivery
Establish and maintain business relations with customer c-level executives and decision makers
Position BTS and the BTS service portfolio with internal and external stakeholders
Act as a local ambassador and contact for BTS towards SAP MENA and customer stakeholders
Create a positive perception of BTS MENA and all its members to stakeholders
Demonstrate thought leadership, drive innovation and contribute to BTS practice improvement
Form part of leadership meetings in DBS MENA
Recruit, develop, coach and manage the BTS MENA practice
Assign BTS consultants to projects and engagements and maintain the required utilization standards
Manage BTS revenue & costs within the assigned budget
Provide regular reporting updates & administration tasks as requested by management (including management reporting for utilization, forecasting, costs and services sales)
At least 7 years professional work experience in Business Transformation Services or a comparable responsibility
Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & programs
Track record of leading engagements with c-level customer executives and customer decision makers
Experience in leading virtual teams
Proven experience in decision making within own area of responsibility
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :
University degree (Master’s degree or MBA preferred e.g. business administration, economics, computer sciences, engineering etc.)
Good knowledge of current and future trends in a main industry and the impact on business strategies
Solid knowledge in SAP Solutions and Technology and how it supports Digital Business Transformations
Expert knowledge of the SAP DBS and BTS services and experience at successfully positioning it in customer engagements
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills as well solid presentation skills
Ability to manage customer’s expectations and communicate on controversial issues or with difficult audiences
Strong influencing skills to reach agreement on key decisions
Ability to operate across organizational boundaries and influence across all management levels both internally and externally to SAP
Self-confident, communicative and diplomatic
Team player, proactive networking, results and execution focused and willingness to learn.
Fluent written and spoken English
