This position is part of the Citi Retail Services Strategic Decisioning group and provides Model Governance support for the development, maintenance, validation, and other management of Non Scoring risk models used across all portfolios.
Provide leadership in the management and efficient delivery against requirements set forth by internal Risk oversight group as well as external regulators
Define, drive and share best-practices in techniques and data strategies to enable consistency and best in class risk management
Interact, communicate effectively and educate business partners on model policy, model approval process and its requirements both during day-to-day interaction and through formal training
Prepare and effectively deliver presentations of policy requirements, technical details, and projects status to both technical and non-technical personnel
Act as liaison between risk policy teams and Model Risk Management for clarification on model policy requirement and for addressing exceptions to model policy
Drive adoption of best practices and dissemination of group risk policies and procedure to different portfolio risk teams with specific focus on Non Scoring risk models
Coordinate all steps of the non-scoring model approval process, including Legal, Compliance and Fair Lending reviews
Design and conduct quarterly assessment of controls and KRI of non-scoring models.

Business & Technical Experience
5+ years related work experience required, with significant academic experience / contribution.
Credit card industry experience especially in an analytics or policy role
Master’s degree with a specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline
Track record of analytical and modeling experience, including identifying the problem, developing options and delivering solutions.
Working Knowledge of statistical tools i.e. SAS, Knowledge Studio, SAS E-miner
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent project/process management
Strong influencing, negotiating, and facilitation skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills targeting a variety of audiences
Candidate must demonstrate strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and quickly drive results.
