I. Position Summary:
Performs clerical and receptionist duties in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Swedish Medical Center. The scope of practice for this role includes management of scheduling, patient charts and charges, dictation, phone triage, daily statistics and overall front office management.
II. Position Requirements
Current BCLS certification.
Business courses or equivalent experience.
Sec/receptionist experience in medical field preferred.
Demonstrates good organizational skills. Sufficient knowledge of medical and technical terms. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Interpersonal skills, transcription skills, computer skills such as WORD and Excel.
III. Degree of Supervision Required
Minimal supervision, individual proceeds in his/her own initiative in compliance with guidelines and protocols.
Reports to CNC.
IV. Orientation Period :
Minimum two weeks, contingent upon experience and position.
