CGI Federal has an opening for a Capture Manager/Opportunity Pursuit Lead. This key team member has the opportunity to make immediate impact in expanding CGIs footprint across the federal health market. The candidate will serve as opportunity pursuit leader for task order responses and will manage teams to win new work with focus on the Department of Health and Human Services and the Social Security Administration leveraging CGIs powerful portfolio of products and services delivered across the federal health market.
The ideal candidate will function as an individual contributor as well as a team leader. This individual will partner closely with account executives, solutions architects, proposal managers, technical writers, pricing managers, finance, and HR leaders to assure CGI proposals are viewed as best in class and worthy of consideration and reward. The successful candidate will oversee win strategies, action plans, competitive analysis, teaming strategies and agreements, proposed solution offering, pricing and price-to-win. Experience working with one or more HHS agencies and/or SSA is preferred.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Organizes and leads the pursuit team to drive forward pursuit efforts.
Specific examples include but are not limited to:
o Refine understanding of procurement requirements and customer points
o Develop solution strategy / win strategy / value propositions
o Develop and execute on call plans.
o Identify corporate past performance references based on RFP requirements
o Develop pricing strategy and deal Financial model
Interfaces between the Business Development team and internal and external stakeholders (prime or subcontractors, business group units such as legal, contracts, subcontracts, etc.).
Leads Preparation and Delivery of Executive Review, strategy sessions, etc.
Implement teaming strategy (partnership with BD)
Prepares status reports and briefings for management.
Supports continual process improvement around the capture and proposal process.
Maintains appropriate records and documentation; tracks, monitors, and reports data to support capture efforts.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum of 8 years of experience responding to federal government competitive procurements
Proven track record of capturing competitive business in the federal healthcare market with a minimum value of $10 million
Industry relationships and with key government program and contracting personnel
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships within a firm/corporation, with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators
Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management
Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to inspire confidence and provide leadership throughout the company
Knowledge of the HHS/SSA//Federal Civilian acquisition/procurement process
Familiarity with the HHS IDIQ/GWAC contracts and industry competitors
Familiarity with technology/market trends in Cloud/Mobility/Big Data/Security and/or with electronic health records and benefits programs is a plus
