CGI is seeking a Technical Lead to support a high impact program at the Department of Commerce. This individual will be responsible for leading the technical teams in the development, installation, configuration and ongoing operations and maintenance of Service Desk Technology and Support suite . The Service Desk will be an integrated solution encompassing case management, workflow, contact and knowledge management systems supported by electronic and intelligent voice response entry for the DOC shared functional areas of HR, Financial Management, Acquisition and Information Technology. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading a development team in the design and implementation of a portal integrating the workflow, knowledge management, issue tracking and reporting technologies. Candidates should have 5-7 years direct experience managing multiple work streams and overseeing development and QA Test activities.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Lead the development of process mappings and priorities
Lead the development of functional designs based on business requirements
Lead integration on project implementations that involve multiple client systems
Interface with hosted database solutions and execute analytical projects
Design data interfaces between clients, vendors, and other third party data aggregators
Evaluate alternative business process and technology solutions, and participate in making technology recommendations to enhance business operations
Execute test and measurement plans to identify successful output and opportunities for improvement
Identify testing objectives and test script inventory
Facilitate client involvement in User Acceptance Testing
Provide recommendations for technology business requirements
Facilitate client visits and lead the design and development of project implementations
Initiate and manage project logs (Risks, Issues, Decisions, Change Control)
Responsible for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues
Maintain and support post production activities for existing integrations
Partner with Project Manager to mentor and guide junior Team Members
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Demonstrated understanding of contact center management software workflow development and management
Demonstrated understanding of content/customer management systems development and management
Demonstrated ability to effectively configure data-based decision making tools in a contact center environment
Demonstrated understanding of Agile and DEVOPS methodologies and the ability to lead teams in test driven development
Bachelors Degree and related experience required
ITIL v3 Foundations Certification desirable
PMP with Agile Certification a plus
DEVOPS and Test Automation a definite plus
