Resource Operations Manager

PAE is currently seeking a Resource Operations Manager to support PAE’s National Security Solutions Line of Business. This position would join an existing operational team who perform together as a center of excellence within the organization. This position is based in Falls Church, VA and operates with a high degree of autonomy. The Resource Operations Manager will be given the tools needed and latitude required to produce results. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting and managing multiple administrative tasks associated with contract compliance for multiple contracts covering the following: cleared administrative support, training information technology, intelligence analysis and operations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Determines independent contractor resource needs for a number of disciplines and customers; handles approximately 30 – 40 requisitions at a time

  • Develops and executes effective and efficient sourcing strategies to develop a network of qualified independent contractors from which engagement decisions can be made in an expedient and compliant manner

  • Sources, networks and actively builds relationships to ensure an adequate pipeline of resources to meet customer needs and to support new business initiatives

  • Attends networking events, utilizes online media, and engages with existing contracted resources on customer sites to identify contractors to fulfill each requisition

  • Adapts to changing business priorities with a focus on accountability, communication, and customer service

  • Manages and coordinates multiple activities simultaneously

  • Accurately tracks and reports on activities

  • May be required to write job descriptions and support proposal efforts

  • Performs other related duties as required

  • Some evenings, weekends, and travel may be required to support business requirements during surge periods (proposals and contract awards)


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; Experience in lieu of education will be considered

  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance

  • Agency or search firm recruiting experience is desired

  • Customer focused and mission driven

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • High level of emotional intelligence and a desire to foster teamwork among peers

  • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Outstanding analytical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities

  • Flexibility, able to adapt and thrive in a fast paced environment
