Systems Engineer

  1. Minimum of 16 yrs. demonstrated on-the-job experience in systems engineering.

  2. Minimum of 10 yrs. demonstrated on-the-job experience in system engineering practice that integrates technical, schedule, configuration, metrics, and risk management processes.

  3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with system performance, resource utilization, customer use, and cost metrics collection tools and processes.

  4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience in process improvement, risk management, and project management.

  5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience in configuration management policy, process, and tools.

  6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

  7. Demonstrated on-the-job experience determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.

  8. Demonstrated on-the-job experience analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.

  9. Demonstrated on-the-job experience identifying technology gaps in current capabilities and processes.

  10. Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing a project plan and workflow based on a project management model.
