PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
It is the objective of the HCM Cloud Business Development Consultant (BDC) to work strategically with his/her respective field sales team (HCM Solution Specialist, Account Executives ) actively contributing to building the sales pipeline, through the use of value-based solution selling techniques into Large Enterprise / Strategic Customer Accounts. You will have experience of teaming with regional marketing to coordinate outbound demand generation programs as a consistent messaging to the market whilst ensuring effective prioritization of inbound and campaign response management. You will be experienced in monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of demand generation activities and how these translate into pipeline contribution, progressed pipeline and influenced bookings.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Create and prioritize strategic cold-calling and social selling prospecting initiatives to generate new business qualified opportunities to build sales pipeline.
Conducting a high level qualifying conversations with a Strategic Line of Business audience in a consultative approach over the telephone.
Identifying key buying influencers to determine compelling business need, budget and timeline.
Building cross-departmental trusted relationships and understanding operational business processes/challenges linked to the corporate strategic goals of our prospective customers and mapping these onto the HCM Cloud/SuccessFactors portfolio of solutions.
Following up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects within defined territories/vertical segments.
Meeting and exceeding monthly qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution target to help accelerate revenue growth.
Building and cultivating prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
Jointly influence regional marketing campaigns and inquiry volumes you will need and localised marketing assets to optimise individual performance.
Continually assess telephone-orientated lead generation campaign and marketing program effectiveness to determine successful growth investment areas, message optimisation and decreased focus.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Demonstrable experience of professional experience in enterprise software sales, sales enablement industry operations, corporate development or IT Recruitment.
Experience in program planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities in new or emerging markets.
Experience in Cloud in the B2B environment.
Excellent communication and proficient negotiation skills.
Demonstrated success in working in a matrix environment.
Awareness of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business networks.
Eligible to live and work in Europe.
