SAP Support Premium Engagements (SAP MaxAttention, SAP Active Embedded) are tailored solutions for the innovation, implementation, operation, and upgrade of SAP solutions. This program is the leading edge of the SAP support offerings for midsize and large customers. It is unique in the IT-market.
PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES
For the execution of our new service line Innovation Premium Engagement, we are looking for Innovation Architect (IA). IA main task is to design, develop and manage collaborative innovation engagements between SAP ES&PE and our large customers. The IA is accountable for the development of unique innovation opportunities for both the customer and SAP, compelling value proposition, turning these into innovation roadmaps, lead quarterly reviews with the customer’s executives (C-level and VP) and the overall success and quality of the Innovation Premium Engagement. The IA is ultimately responsible for the execution of the Innovation Premium Engagement contracts. Each IA will be accountable for a number of Innovation Premium Engagement customers.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
As part of our (senior) Innovation Architect team, the candidate needs to possess a balanced mixture of experience and qualifications both in technology and business best-practices as well as market-oriented development:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university. MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
Strong aptitude for adopting new innovations and ability to understand them in a bigger business context.
Fluency in English, any other language an asset. Fluency in the language of local markets desirable. This includes very good skills in written and verbal communication.
Good knowledge of SAP innovative products and the related software architectures and will to extend and update regularly.
Proven skills in project management and negotiation skills.
Strong alignment and collaboration skills to work within virtual, multi-cultural, heterogeneous and remote teams.
Creative approach to problem solving while working on a tight schedule and budget.
Interest in working effectively and efficiently in a small but powerful team, while developing close working relationships with teams outside and inside SAP.
Knowledge of Design Thinking methodology and SAP Innovations are highly desirable
In order to succeed in the position, the candidate needs to be able to demonstrate expertise in areas such as:
3-7 years of business development experience in enterprise software solution sales preferred.
2-5 years of SAP work experience. Good understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition.
Experience in strategic planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities. Co-innovation with customers / partners highly desirable.
Record of building strong network of customer / partner relationships.
Ability to visualize data and present core insights that SAP Innovations can support in a clear and compelling way.
Strong desire to overcome obstacles and make your work benefit SAP's customers.
Collaboration with R&D teams, Research Institutes, Universities is desirable.
Track record of publishing innovation related topics on business related social media.
