The SAP Connected Health Platform is the central component of our newly formed Connected Health Product Unit with the Business Network Application board area.
The SAP Connected Health platform runs on SAP HANA, and it aims to form a broad ecosystem of healthcare partners (from payers to providers to researchers) that will accelerate the development and delivery of innovative patient-centered solutions. The goal is to improve health outcomes, reduce costs, and deliver connected healthcare services.
We will leverage SAP HANA platform e.g. to provide personalized medicine to patients in the window of opportunity i.e. 20 minutes during a patient visit to a doctor. A doctor should be able to look at all the components of a person's health at the same time to make a better-informed treatment decisions. Today, either this data doesn't exist or resides in silos.
The SAP Connected Health Platform will be the integration point for many diverse health-associated applications built on top of it. All applications built on top of the platform will utilize a common database schema, functional libraries and algorithms implemented in SAP HANA. The data schema, libraries and algorithms will evolve with new applications being added on top of the platform so that customers and partners can use the platform to build their own applications.
The SAP Connected Health Platform is delivered as on-premise or private cloud solutions (e.g. for clinics) and deliverables for public cloud are planned for 2017. We are a global organization and the development is distributed between teams in Germany, India and US.
Expectations and Tasks
As a manager, you will lead a newly created and growing global team of Customer Solution Adoption Experts as part of the Connected Health Platform organization. Together with your team, you will be responsible to ensure the implementation of our product in time and superior quality within key customer projects and help driving our product capabilities and architecture.
Provide leadership to a high performance team
Grow the team and enable existing and new team members by your healthcare domain knowledge and your strong customer project experience
Build proof of concepts for key customers embedded in the development organization of the Connected Health Platform
Be the technical expert for the Connected Health Platform in key customer implementation projects
Design with your team healthcare solution architectures by combining our Connected Health platform with other SAP assets
Understand Customer Requirements in detail and roll these back in to Customer and Core Development Road Map plans
Knowledge enable field resources globally so that they can learn the Connected Health solution, project approaches and scale
Education and Qualification/Skills and Competencies
University degree in software engineering, natural sciences or equivalent
Excellent expertise in SAP HANA technology
10 Years minimum of end to end Customer Project Implementation experience
Very strong project management experience across different locations
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English. German and French (optional)
Accustomed to collaborate with custom development and complex customer projects
Very good network to teams outside of our organization within the shipment & delivery process
