Next Generation MaxAttention (NGMaxA) Enterprise Value Architect works to develop and execute on strategies for growth, specifically focused on developing SAP’s Premium Engagements (PE) in various markets in support of the short, medium and long term strategy and goals. The candidate is accountable to identify and recommend new growth levers and value delivery opportunities. Define SAP PE competitive advantage and establish the key reasons for existing PE customers and prospects to leverage premium engagements for cloud and hybrid deployment models as well as other innovative technologies to achieve strategic PE business objectives. Manages efforts to identify, foster and develop new opportunities in existing and net new customers. Accountable to ensure relevant strategies and related plans are developed, documented and communicated with virtual account team for both on premise and cloud environments cross- industry and customer segment.

The purpose of the Next Generation Enterprise Value Architecture team is to benefit the customer as well as SAP. The Enterprise Value Architect will provide ongoing support to selected Service and Support Leads (SSL’s) in their engagements to unlock customer value service opportunities and support the SSL’s in moving their customer closer to SAP strategic action and direction. The Enterprise Value Architecture team will also support potential next generation customers in the positioning and scoping of SAP premium engagements.


Area 1: Serve as a member of the NGMaxA Enterprise Value Architecture “virtual” team whilst leveraging the broader organization to generate, identify and grow opportunities for Premium Engagements.

Area 2: Work as part of an integrated team when a holistic NGMaxA solution is being positioned to a customer.

Area 3: Working with broader organisation and virtual account/embedded teams to identify, generate and pursue upsell, consumption and net new opportunities.

Area 4: Develop creative, workable alternatives to enable opportunities and customer agreed roadmaps. Work effectively in a team environment and generate high impact results. Ramp-up scalable revenue programs. Ensure customers understand the unique selling points and the value that is provided by SAP Premium Engagements

Area 5: Define benefit case and roadmap for the customer to justify investments in

o Adopting SAP innovations on premise and cloud

o Improving business processes execution

o optimizing operations of SAP solutions

o improving IT service delivery


  • Significant experience of growing Premium Engagements and generating upsell opportunities or develop new areas for Premium Engagement to be utilised to ensure customer success and innovation.

  • The NGMaxA Enterprise Value Architect needs solid understanding of PE services offering and it’s interoperability within SAP’s services lines of business which are part of SAP’s Digital Business Services.

  • Ability to understand the customer’s as-is situation and real pain points as described by the customer and account team.

  • Experience in strategic planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities.

  • Experience working in virtual teams.

  • 3-5 years of SAP experience. Experience in Cloud in the B2B environment.

  • Advanced understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition. Strong knowledge of best business practices and financial analysis.

  • Record of building strong relationships within SAP Digital Business Services to drive in-engagement selling post sales and content support for net new opportunities and renewals.

  • Have the interest to increase your exposure beyond a single customer engagement to become visible for multiple engagements and SAP management on a regional level.

  • Have the willingness to share your experience of customer interaction with other colleagues.

  • Business development, transformation and account planning skills.

  • Understanding of DBS services portfolio with particular focus on PE offering.

  • Strategic and value driven thinking.

  • Account management, Value management, Business Development and portfolio knowledge.
