This description is for an Administrative Clerk supporting Maintenance operations. This position is responsible for the organization and monitoring of spare parts, work orders, purchase orders, warranty, credit, and computerized maintenance data base actions.


Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:

  • Manage, monitor and report on, but not limited to:

o Spare parts status

o Purchase orders

o Vendor parts pricing

o Vendor management

o Database currency

o Work Order status

o Warranty tracking

o Production inventory

  • Perform cycle counts as required.

  • Maintain Technician work schedules.

  • Provide status reports as required by Management.

  • Monitor and update the Department's technical library.

  • Effectively communicate both written and orally with supervisor, customers and peers.

  • Follow directions.

  • Work independently and in a team environment.

  • Comply with company attendance policy.

  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the job.


A teammate in this position must:

  • Have High School Diploma or GED.

  • Have strong computer skills including MS Office. Prefer experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i or Maintenance Connection.

  • Possess experience in inventory management, parts research.

  • Be detail-oriented.

  • Be familiar maintenance practices, general parts knowledge and procurement procedures.

  • Be able to speak, read and understand the English language.

  • Be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
