Operational Advisor (ASLTE)

Job Summary: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and instructor for Adaptability training/Education with responsibility for developing curriculums, instructing, modeling ALM 2015 and ASLTE techniques and principles, managing, coordinating adaptability training/Education.

Qualifications/Experience: Must be an experienced facilitator with Instructional experience dealing with adaptability training/education. Preferably has extensive experience with Adult Learning model and strong background in educational techniques. Individual must demonstrate knowledge of instructional strategies, methods of instruction, and curriculum/ POI development. At a minimum should have ten (10) years of relevant experience with Centers of Excellence/units utilizing adaptability training and education methodologies and approaches in training/education. Individual must be experienced with Army Learning Model 2015, understand Outcomes Based Training and Education, familiar with educational/training approaches such as ASLTE and experienced in conducting training/education assessments. Individual must be familiar with DOD, DA, and TRADOC training concepts, philosophies, methodologies, policies and procedures, governing training management, training support and education, plus a thorough understanding of how they impact training and education goals, objectives and implementation programs and evaluation strategies. Individual must be able to apply mastery of advanced management and organizational principles and practices Individual must be capable of briefing Senior Army Leaders. Individual should have relevant Operational experience and Combat deployments preferably in current AOs, with a SOF/CF, Ranger, IED Task Force Trainer background.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required.

Clearance: DOD issued TOP SECRET SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION (SCI) or eligible to obtain a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
