Robert Half Finance & Accounting Accounts Receivable, Credit Collections Specialist in Fraser Valley, British Columbia

Robert Half Finance Accounting has several open job orders for Accounts Receivable, Credit Collections Specialists throughout the Fraser Valley. Several of these roles require entering and posting and reconciliation of batches, research and resolution to customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Responsibilities are varied depending upon which job order you might apply to. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable processes

  • Generate timely invoices for customers

  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies

  • Make collections calls and follow up with customers on delinquent accounts

  • Maintain customers' collection/accounts payable contact information updated

  • Process and reconcile Office and Field Service Credit Cards

  • Filing accounting records as required and research files/records for special projects.

  • Support the answering of phones, mail distribution and other administrative duties

  • Software: Simply Accounting

Requirements: Skills/Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in receivable/accounts payable

  • Bookkeeping experience preferred but not mandatory in some positions

  • Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

  • Detail oriented, accurate and able to multitask in a fast paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
