Community Regional Medical Center Housekeeping Supervisor- Full Time (Exempt) in Fresno, California
This role entails responsibility for all outcomes within the supervisor’s area of function or influence. These outcomes will be centered on department employee satisfaction and retention, quality controls, patient, visitor, and staff satisfaction, as measured through both quantitative and qualitative feedback.
You will promote a teamwork environment that fosters quality and productivity. You will be conducting department orientation training and staff development training, conducting patient surveys and quality control inspections, implementing customer service policies and recovery, and initiating performance improvement activities. In conjunction with communication from lead staff, you will conduct all employee formal development and administrative activities including scheduling, progressive discipline, coaching, performance evaluations, and hiring.
Expectations are that you will adhere to and enforce all hospital safety and regulatory guidelines.
You’ll need to have knowledge of cleaning procedures, operation and maintenance of power equipment, human resources policy and procedure administration, and safety policies and procedures. In addition, you will need to possess the ability to remain professional, composed and analytical with customers and staff under trying circumstances. Interpersonal skills including oral communications are essential, with diplomacy and human relations skills to build relationships with hospital staff, regulators, and others contacted during the course of business. Lastly, you will need to demonstrate supervisory skills that would include delegating work follow-up, coaching, and administering human resources programs and policies.
Your daily tasks include coordinating communicating with the Director and Supervisor team concerning progress toward department and hospital goals. We will help you in conjunction with communication from lead staff, conducts all employee formal development and administrative activities including, scheduling, progressive discipline, coaching, performance evaluations, and hiring.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED. Two or more years of previous management experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting.
