Red Team Partner Liaison


The Red Team Partner Liaison serves as an on-site Liaison Officer to Red Team Partners for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, J10 Mission Assurance Red [Team]. The Liaison provides support in all aspects of assessment, planning operations and pre-mission training. The Red Team Partner Liaison serves as the corporate memory for assessment methodology and is responsible for developing and coordinating collection priorities and strategies, evaluating collection effectiveness, and recommending realignment of resources when appropriate. The Red Team Partner Liaison coordinates, validates and manages standing, ad hoc, and mission related collection requirements. Red Team Partner Liaison is responsible for allocating collection efforts against the requirements and regularly solicits Project Leaders to ensure collection against prioritized requirements. The Red Team Partner Liaison is responsible for maintaining and accounting for all DTRA provided equipment and supplies provided to the partner organization.


The Red Team Partner Liaison shall:

  • Support the conduct of field assessments in accordance with program plans, operations orders, and other directives.

  • Prepareprogram deliverables including situation reports, out-briefs,andafteractionreports.

  • Conduct strategic level liaison with USASOC and USASFC with regards to the DoD Red Team Program, primarily command awareness, identification of resources and support availability.

  • Conduct operational level liaison with 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) with regards to the DoD Red Team Program.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Special Forces qualification with SOF community experience with ASOT Level III and an active TS/SCI.

  • Knowledge of a full range of concepts,principles,andpractices in HUMINTcollectionandcollectionmanagementand skill in applying this knowledge to difficultwork assignments. A thorough knowledge of and skill in applyinganalytical and evaluativetechniquesfor developing new or modified work methods, approaches, or procedures; and to identify,evaluate,and recommend solutions to issuesand/orproblems.

  • Proficiency in understanding, analyzing and summarizing comprehensiveandcomplextechnical, and researchinformation/data.

  • Proficient in understanding, analyzing and summarizing comprehensive and complextechnical,contractual,andresearch information/data.

  • Excellentanalytical, oral, and written communications skills,andprojectmanagementexperience.
